I was elated when I found the advertisement for an opening in your company on a local job vacancy website. I firmly believe that I am the ideal candidate for the advertised role and that my previous work experience and education will enable me to be successful in this position.

I have an undergraduate degree in BSc Economics from Birmingham City University, and I am a member of the Royal Economic Society. My university studies have given me a thorough understanding of both the theory and practical aspects of various economic models, theories and principles. Please refer to my CV for a list of the different modules that I studied.

For the past 16 months, I have been working as a Trainee Economist at Smart Money Ltd., where I was responsible for meeting with various clients to discuss their financial circumstances and produce for them accurate financial reports and forecasts. In this role, I have gained excellent experience in research and sharpened my analytical and problem-solving skills.

I would love the opportunity to work for First Front Publications as this is a company that is currently making a huge impact with their work. My excellent communication and organisational skills, combined with my deep knowledge of economics, means that any project that I work on will be completed efficiently and to a high standard. I have absolutely no difficulty in explaining complex theories to clients, or in ensuring that tasks are completed smoothly and to the satisfaction of customers.
