Dear Mrs Khan,

Re: Graphics Designer (Vac. Ref: 24J)

I am interested in employment as a Graphics Designer with your company. My previous work experience in graphics design has fully prepared me for this position.

I have been working as a Trainee Graphics Designer for the past 9 months at a local computing firm. My responsibilities include meeting with clients and establishing customer requirements, brainstorming ideas, producing sketches and prototypes using CAD and other graphic manipulation software, and creating final designs for products. I am familiar with all the standard software programs. Having worked with more than forty clients, I have received excellent feedback which has further encouraged me to pursue a career in this field.

I graduated with a 2:1 degree in BA Product Design from the University of Birmingham. I am a creative, articulate and visionary individual with the ability to come up with novel ideas to impress any client. Customer satisfaction is at the centre of every project that I do. I pride myself in the ability to explain concepts and ideas without any visual aid, something that is a testimony to my excellent communication skills.

I firmly believe that my formal education, combined with my relevant work experience in the field, make me the ideal candidate to work in your organisation and make Creative Solutions Ltd. an even bigger success in today’s competitive creative industry.

I have attached my CV with this application for your consideration. Please do not hesitate to call me on the number above if you feel that an interview would be beneficial to you and your organisation. Thank you for your time, and I hope to see you soon.

Yours sincerely,
