Dear Mr Grant,

Re: IT Manager (Vacancy: JJ94)

Your recent advert in the 18th May edition of The Times for the above position has really provoked my interest to apply for this post.

I am currently working as an Assistant IT Manager at IPD Ltd., where I have been working for the past three years. My key responsibilities include regularly managing four staff members, ensuring the IT network is up and running at all times, training new employees, providing technical support to customers, carrying out system maintenance, recommending improvements to the system, and overseeing the design and development of new systems.

My passion for IT goes back for as long as I can remember. I graduated in 2014 with a 2:1 degree in BSc Computer Science from the University of Essex. My education has given me a solid understanding of operating systems, networks and programming languages. Additionally, I possess excellent communication and leadership skills, something which I have refined and demonstrated in my current job at IPD Ltd.

Compact IT Services has an excellent reputation in the industry, and working for your organisation would be a real honour and privilege.

I welcome the opportunity to meet up with you to further discuss my technical and management skills that will enable me to excel at this job and make a real difference in your organisation. Please do not hesitate to contact me on 07892 237 105 at any time of your convenience. Thank you, and I look forward to meeting you soon.

Yours sincerely,
