I have recently become aware of your vacancy listed on the Monster job site for the role of a Kitchen Fitter at SMD Contractors Ltd., and I would like to introduce myself as a suitable candidate for this position.
Since a young age, I have always excelled in practical work and enjoy the sense of achievement that comes with completing DIY projects to a high standard. I further developed the passion for buildings work throughout my 2-year long apprenticeship with Joseph & Sons, where I gained experience in various areas ranging from measuring and plotting to bricklaying. Following on from this, I decided to focus my services around home interiors, so I started working as a Kitchen and Bathroom Fitter at Pipedream Ltd.
As detailed in my attached CV, I have all the necessary transferable and practical skills required for this role, as well as over two years of experience in the industry providing me with excellent knowledge regarding Health and Safety and contemporary building regulations.
I firmly believe I could utilise my extensive expertise in this field to invite more custom, provide outstanding customer service, as well as sharing my knowledge with junior members of staff.
