Dear Ms Vaughan,

Re: Credit Controller (Ref: #2563A)

Please consider my application for Credit Controller as per your advert on Indeed.com.

I am currently working as a Credit Controller for SIPO, where I am responsible for collecting debt from other businesses on behalf of our clients. I am regularly dealing with the monitoring and management of debt, payments and invoices of a dozen medium-sized companies, for which I am making more than 50+ phone calls per day.

I have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to speak clearly and coherently both face-to-face and over the phone. I am capable of meeting targets, working under pressure and dealing with people who are in debt or difficult situations. I have excellent negotiation skills, which has enabled me to recover huge sums of unpaid money for my clients.

I am a focused, friendly and motivated individual with excellent customer service skills. I understand that many parts of this role may be repetitive or tedious; however, having worked in a similar role for the past 12 months, I have developed the determination to carry on with the job and meet my targets. I believe that my work experience, together with my passion for credit control and determination to succeed, make me the ideal candidate for this role.

I really appreciate that you have taken the time out to review my covering letter and attached CV, and I look forward to meeting you to demonstrate further how I can make a valuable contribution to your credit control team.

Yours sincerely,
