Over the summer, I have gained work experience in an accounting firm where I was fully trained in the use of accounting software and programs. I demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as numeracy skills by meeting deadlines, advising clients on tax planning, maintaining accounting records, preparing accounts, and working as directed by my line manager. I was able to improve my communication and interpersonal skills by doing tax and account work for small and medium-sized enterprises and charities.
