I was recently reading through your company newsletter when I came across an advertisement for the position of Distribution Manager at Newtown Logistics. I would love to apply for this role as I firmly believe that I could contribute immensely to your organisation.
I have spent the past two years working for a distribution company where I was able to master the use of various computer and communication systems in order to oversee and manage the successful control and movement of goods and products held in stock. As can be seen from my attached CV, I have also recently completed a Level 4 qualification in Leadership and Supply Chain Management. Both my education and previous work experience have provided me with a great insight into the distribution industry, something which will greatly benefit me in this advertised role.
It was at my former job that I learnt to appreciate the importance of clear communication and teamwork as I would work with a broad range of people on a daily basis; manufacturers, suppliers, customers, drivers and members of the public. Additionally, I am a systematic and logical individual with an excellent awareness of health and safety hazards in the workplace.
