Dear Mr Jackson,

Re: Warehouse Assistant (ID JJ47C)

Thank you for meeting me yesterday and showing me your warehouse and company operations. I am delighted to inform you that I am interested in applying for the above post.

I am currently working as a Warehouse Operative at Tesco, where I have been working for the past 18 months. My key responsibilities include; loading and unloading goods, labelling boxes and packages, identifying damaged or missing goods at the earliest occasion, ordering products, liaising with logistics and transportation professionals, assisting the Warehouse Manager in daily tasks, and ensuring that the warehouse is in a tidy state at all times.

I recently completed my Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in ICT, which has given me an excellent understanding of IT systems, something which will be very useful for this job role. Additionally, I have excellent communication and team working skills which I have developed during my studies and working in my current job.

My work experience has given me a good understanding of how a warehouse operates, and I wish to utilise this knowledge and contribute to the smooth running of your company’s warehouse operations.

I hope that you will consider my application. Please feel free to get in touch if you require anything else or would like to arrange a suitable time for an interview. I am available on short notice. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to seeing you soon.

Yours sincerely,
