Dear Ms Sanders,

Re: Furniture Designer (Ref: AA347)

This letter is in response to your Furniture Designer vacancy which I came across in the Metro, 17th February.

For the past 18 months, I have been working as a Furniture Designer for Home Solutions Ltd. My key duties include studying and researching furniture designs, establishing customer requirements, producing sketches and prototypes, selecting appropriate materials, using design software, liaising with suppliers and manufacturers, working closely with fellow designers and artists, and holding regular meetings with clients. Before I started this job, I studied BA (Hons) Product and Furniture Design at Birmingham City University.

I am a creative and adaptable individual with a keen eye for detail. I consider myself to be a perfectionist, which enables me to produce the highest quality of designs and products. I can work well in a team but also individually without direct supervision. Customer satisfaction has been, and always will be, my number one priority.

My hands-on experience combined with my passion for customer service make me the ideal candidate to work at JCG Furniture and provide an exceptional service to your clients.

Please find attached my Curriculum Vitae with this letter, and I would be grateful if you could review it and invite me to an interview if you think that I am a strong candidate for this role. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Yours sincerely,
