Dear Mr Bolton,

Re: Gym Manager (JH345)

Your advertisement for Gym Manager in the Weekly (16th January) captured my attention, and I firmly believe that I am the ideal person for this position.

I am currently working as Deputy Gym Manager at Fitness Hour, where I am responsible for managing the gym on a regular basis, dealing with incidents and emergencies, assisting customers with their memberships and supervising staff at all times. Previously, I worked for three years as a Fitness Instructor at various places, something which gave me a lot of insight into how health centres operated and how they should be maintained.

I have a friendly and outgoing personality, enabling me to build excellent relationships with both staff and clients alike. My outstanding leadership and negotiation skills have allowed me to successfully motivate and manage twelve staff at my current workplace. Additionally, I am a qualified first-aider with experience of dealing with health and safety emergencies.

I am really impressed by Devon Gym Centre’s online customer reviews, and it would be an honour to be given the opportunity to work at your centre and make it even more successful.

I am confident that my previous work experience in management has fully prepared me to excel at this job. I would be immensely grateful to be invited for an interview so that we can discuss this further. Thank you for your consideration.

Yours sincerely,

Phil Wilkins.
