Dear Ms Chapman,

Re: Information, Advice and Guidance Officer (ID: JE881)

I was absolutely thrilled when I saw your IAG Officer vacancy in the newspaper as I am currently looking for a suitable job in the information and careers sector.

I am an enthusiastic and a highly motivated person who loves to help others succeed. My part-time job as a Marketing Assistant and past volunteering work has helped me to improve my interpersonal and people skills. As can be seen from my attached CV, I have had many different jobs in the past, which has given me extensive knowledge and experience in job hunting, completing job applications and interview techniques.

As can be seen from my 100% attendance rate during the time I was in college, I am a very organised and methodical person who can work under pressure. I have gained IT and administrative skills through my ICT course in college. I am also an excellent team player, but I can also work without direct supervision. I can speak four languages fluently which will help me communicate effectively with different people of diverse backgrounds.

Young Adult Communication Centre caught my attention because of the excellent service that it is providing in the community. I would love to be part of one of your teams and help young adults with securing both short- and long-term employment opportunities.

Thank you for taking the time to consider my application, please contact me if you have any questions regarding my application and supporting documents. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Yours sincerely,
