Mr James Anderson
Campaign Manager
The Worker’s Party
47 Howard Street
Lancashire
LA11 6AZ

Dear Mr Anderson,

Re: Councillor (REF: UI353)

I wish to become a Councillor for Oldbury to represent your party in the local community.

I have been a loyal member of your party since 2010 because I passionately believe in everything The Worker’s Party stands for. I have supported the party on numerous occasions through various means, more recently in the 2016 UK general elections by donating and campaigning in my local area. Your party has the best policies for addressing the problems of the NHS, housing and education; things which have crippled the Oldbury community.

I am passionate about local politics and making a real and tangible difference in the community that I live in. I am a friendly, outgoing and confident individual with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. I have the ability to build strong relationships with a broad range of people including students and pensioners.

I was born and bred in Oldbury, and a chance to represent your party in the local community would be an honour and privilege. My knowledge of politics, combined with my ability to work with a variety of people, make me the ideal candidate for this role.

Thank you for taking the time out to review my application, and I very much hope that you will select me as The Worker’s Party’s Councillor for Oldbury to make a real difference in the community.

Yours sincerely,
