Dear Mr Parr,

Re: Forensic Scientist Vacancy (ID: 424JK)

I am responding to your job advert on cvplaza.com website for a Forensic Scientist.

I graduated in 2016 with a first-class degree in BSc Forensic Science from Bournemouth University. Key modules that I studied include; Introduction to Forensic Investigation, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Forensic Law and Practice, Chemistry and Advanced Crime Scene. My final year project was entitled “Correlation between Crime and Mental Health in London.” My formal education has given me an in-depth and comprehensive understanding of forensic science, something which will be invaluable in this role.

Over the summer holidays, I voluntarily worked for two months at Crown Prosecution Service as an Investigations Assistant, where I was responsible for providing support and assistance to senior scientists conducting their investigations.

I have excellent communication skills with the ability to work with a variety of both technical and non-technical people and professionals. I consider myself to be a perfectionist with a very good eye for detail, something which is an essential requirement for this position.

I have attached my CV and supporting documents for your consideration. I am eagerly looking forward to further discussing my candidacy with you in person. Please feel free to contact me on the number above if you require anything else from me or if you would like to arrange a suitable time to meet. Thank you.

Yours sincerely,
