I have come across your Veterinary Surgeon vacancy on jobs.vettimes.co.uk and was thrilled for having the opportunity to work at your reputable veterinary clinic.
I have recently finished my degree in Veterinary Science from the University of Nottingham, and I am a member of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and actively participate in events. I am friendly, flexible and have excellent organisational skills. I am more than capable of communicating with clients and know the importance of disclosing information to the clients in a way that is easy to understand, especially in emotional circumstances.
I currently live with two cats and a dog, and owning pets has made me more caring, compassionate and approachable. It made me realise what a huge commitment it is to have pets. I have also shadowed a local Veterinary Surgeon for two weeks, which has given me a great insight into the work involved in this job position. It was demonstrated that one has to be able to work in a practical and unsentimental way with animals.
I am particularly interested in working at Green Veterinary Clinic because of its great reputation and the excellent services that it provides. It would be an honour to be part of your company and contribute towards its continued success.
